Soon they loved each other and had two new lives. The sister born on a snowy day was named Yuki, and the brother born on a rainy day was named Ame. But these two small children had a big secret. They were born as "wolf children", having both human and wolf sides. Hiding the fact that Yuki and Ame are wolf children, the four lived quietly in a corner of the city. Their modest but happy days seemed everlasting, until suddenly taken away by the death of their father, the "wolf man".
