Description
[Machine Translation] Kanekoayano, a band led by Kanekoayano, released a surprise album on April 25. It has been about two years since their last album "Towelket wa Mild", and this is their first full album since they changed their band name to "kanekoayano" in August 2024. After a year of pre-production with guitarist Hirotoshi Hayashi and bassist Takuyaiizuka, drummer Sei Nagahata and percussionist Ryotaro Miyasaka were added as supporting members, and all songs were recorded in about two weeks. The 10 songs, including the re-recordings of "Lucky" and "Rusty", retain the folky side of Kaneko Ayano's style, but with much more freedom in arrangement, making the psychedelic songs more psychedelic, the krautrock and dub-oriented songs more experimental, and incorporating congas and steelpan. The band also plays congas and steel pans, creating a variety of landscapes with each song.
