[Machine Translation] The Underground Record Club (URC) is a group of artists who have been performing their famous songs for generations. This is a 2-CD compilation of URC's sound sources and covers by a wide variety of well-known artists. This is a rare and precious compilation that allows you to enjoy different expressions of the same song! URC was born in 1969 as a pioneer of Japanese indie labels and ceased its activities at the end of the 1970s. It is the founder of Japanese folk/rock music, which brought together Happi End, Nobuyasu Okabayashi, Tomoya Takaishi, Takashi Nishioka, Wataru Takada, and many other cutting-edge talents. The rights to release the album were transferred to Sony Music in 2023, and a compilation album project is currently being released along with a CD reissue of the classic album.
