¡Bravo 1966 "Germany Tour"
¡THE BEATLES
Description
The Beatles -- Germany Concerts from Their Final Tour Era, Now Unearthed! From The Beatles' final world tour in 1966 -- effectively marking the end of their live performance career -- comes a historic release featuring their concerts in Germany, held just days before their legendary shows at the Nippon Budokan in Japan (June 30, July 1 & 2). Germany held deep significance for the band, having spent years there in their pre-debut days during extensive live residencies, most notably at the iconic Star-Club in Hamburg. Their return to Germany in June 1966 marked their first visit since December 1962 and included six concerts across three cities: Munich on June 24 and 25, and Hamburg on June 26. The June 24 Munich performance had previously surfaced with seven songs broadcast on TV (though "She's A Woman" survives only as a brief fragment). Now, for the first time, the newly discovered recording of the June 25 Essen evening concert is unveiled. This CD features both the Munich and Essen performances. The Essen show, in particular, has generated intense buzz among Beatles fans online for its raw audio, wild energy, and electrifying execution. Includes liner notes, commentary, and a booklet.
