Description
The sci-fi robot anime marks the directorial debut of Yutaka Izubuchi, the mecha designer of "Gundam: Gyakushu no Char (Char's Counter Attack)." While the show is sci-fi mecha oriented, the tone is scenic, gorgeous and mysterious. It centers around a highschool student named Ayato Kamina who witnesses a city under attack from a strange Air Squadron. Wandering through the devastated city, he arrives at an underground shrine of some kind, as if guided by some unknown force, and he finds a gigantic egg. The egg hatches, and out comes a large Rahxephon! Initial pressing comes with a bonus trading card. All bonus cards from the 9 volumes (excluding those which feature the sleeve cover artwork) put together will make up a complete artwork.
