Aired on TV between October 1965 and September 1966, Jungle Emperor Leo (a.k.a. "Kimba the White Lion") created by the legendary Osamu Tezuka was the first ever Japanese anime series in color. Many people have pointed out the show's obvious influence on a certain Disney animated film. The series was aired in 39 countries around the world, and considered among the earliest anime classics. This DVD boxed set is comprised of 5 discs containing the first 25 episodes. It comes with a 40-page all-color booklet.
