Description
The Ninja anime was based on the legendary manga artist Sanpei Shirato's early comic serial running in Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine. It was produced over 30 years back, and the depiction of boy ninja Sasuke and his healthy virtues were embraced by kids of all ages back then, breaking the mold of the traditional dark Ninja image. The series counts as one of Shirato's most monumental works, along with 'Kamui Gaiden' and 'Ninja Bugeicho.' It's a 3-disc set (2 single layer discs + 1 double layer disc.) The set contains a bookmark made of an original filmstrip as a bonus.
