[Machine Translation] This is the first of a two-month series of memorial albums commemorating the 15th anniversary of jazz violinist maiko's career. maiko's fifth album in total is a quartet of jazz standards with Jacob Kohler (pf), Patrick Glynn (b), and Dennis Freese (ds). (ds). The previous four albums were mainly original compositions, but to sum up their 15 years of activities as jazz violinists, the quartet tackled jazz standards, their roots, head-on. Together with the other members, the quartet has created a sharp and lively swinging sound. The album contains 11 songs.
