The Sentinals hail from San Luis Obispo, California, and are said to have originated from The Revels. Members of the band included Tommy Nunes, who wrote music for the band, John Barbayta, who later worked with The Turtles, Crosby Stills & Nash, and Jefferson Airplane, and Leigh Michaels, a keyboardist who would later release a solo album on the A & M label. This album was composed by Tommy Nunes. This album contains original songs written by Tommy Nunes and covers of "Surfing" by the Beach Boys and "Shout" by the Isley Brothers. Released in 1963. Includes commentary.
