[Machine Translation] Takashi Ueno ( Tenniscoats ) covers classic songs from the Showa era with just one electric guitar! Two CDs to be released at the same time! This cover project was born out of "Takashi Ueno Electric Guitar Solo" (a live performance where you can enjoy the charm of the guitar played by Takashi Ueno with only one guitar each time), which has been held at Jimbocho Listening Room almost once every three months since 2015. From prewar Taro Tokai Rincho's "Kokubou no Machi" to 1985's Asahi Kobayashi's "Natsuki Kokoro", 31 classic songs from the Showa period, including enka and mood songs, are covered with only one electric guitar, using Ueno's unique approach. The album was recorded by Ueno himself, mastered by Makoto Oshiro, who also worked on "Ueno Action," and designed by Sally Kubota with a modern touch while retaining a Showa flavor. While enjoying Ueno's ever-changing and stoic guitar playing, listeners can also appreciate the wonderful melodies of the songs.
