Movie
Description
[Machine Translation] Jim Jarmusch, a master filmmaker who has won the admiration and respect of filmmakers around the world for such films as "Stranger than Paradise," which made him a household name, has released his first film in four years, and this film is the culmination of his work, which has received rave reviews at festivals and film awards, including the 69th Cannes International Film Festival. The main character, Patterson, is played by Adam Driver, who has been active in a wide variety of films, from major productions such as "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" to independent films. The role of the Japanese poet who meets Patterson at the end of the film and influences him is played by Masatoshi Nagase, who makes his first appearance in a Jarmusch film in 27 years. The role, reminiscent of the one in "Mystery Train," was written by Jarmusch with him in mind. Also, don't miss the performance of Nellie, a bulldog who plays the role of Jarmusch's beloved dog, who captivated Cannes and won the Palme d'Or. --Patterson ( Adam Driver ) is a bus driver living in Paterson, New Jersey. His day begins in the morning when he kisses his wife, Laura ( Golshifteh Farahani ), who sleeps next to him. He goes to work as usual and writes down the poems that come to his mind in his secret notebook as he goes about his flight. He comes home, has dinner with his wife, and goes for an evening walk with his dog, Marvin. He stops at a bar, has one drink, comes home, and falls asleep next to Laura. At first glance, his day-to-day life is pretty much the same as it always has been. This is the story of seven days in Patterson's life, filled with humor and kindness, as he interacts with unique people and encounters the unexpected.
