In addition, Miyamoto asked trusted music producer Yoshinori Tsutaya to arrange "Akai Sweet Pea," a song that Miyamoto has declared to be his favorite. Through careful selection and study with these trusted people, the cover album "ROMANCE" took shape. All of the original songs on the album were sung by women,1 including songs that Miyamoto was familiar with as a boy listener, as well as songs she has newly encountered, but all of them are songs that she has always loved. This cover album, in which Koji Miyamoto sings each song with the utmost respect for the original, is a work that maximally demonstrates his power and charm as a singer, and together with the arrangements by the producers and performances by the musicians, can be called the pinnacle of cover albums.
