Description
Multiple award winning film based on Gerry Conlon's autobiographical novel about the "Guilford Four." The film centers on Conlon (Daniel Day-Lewis) who is falsely imprisoned along with his father Giuseppe (Pete Postlethwaite) for an IRA bombing. With the help of a steadfast lawyer (Emma Thompson), they fight the misled system. The film was nominated for seven Academy Awards including Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Actor for Daniel Day-Lewis. The film won the 44th Berlin International Film Festival Golden Bear award.
