Description
Boxed set compiling the "Back to the Future" trilogy. Robert Zemeckis followed up the success of his "Romancing The Stone" with a bigger success of "Back To The Future." Masterfully directed by Zemeckis, and brilliantly acted by the entire cast, the film's look belies its relatively modest budget. While there had already been sci-fi movies made about time travel, this was the first film in which a teenager goes back in time and not only meets his parenst as teenagers, but unwittingly learns about his mom's crush on him (Paging Dr. Freud!), and desperately sets the course right for them so he and his siblings don't get wiped out back in their own time! Furthermore, what sets this movie apart from all the other sci-fi films that preceded it is its unique blend of sci-fi adventure theme with almost Capraesque comedy/drama full of warmth and a feel good vibe.
