Description
Along with the Python troupe's own "Life of Brian" and Mel Brooks' "Blazing Saddles", I consider "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" to be one of the funniest movies ever made. It's a grossly irreverent send-up of the Arthurian legend, brought forth by the minds of John Cleese, Eric Idle, Michael Palin, Terry Jones, Graham Chapman, and Terry Gilliam. Watching this gut-wrenching funny film, I realize what the world needs is more knights in not-so-shining armours who say "Nee!" Disc 1 contains the main feature with an optional audio commentary and 5.1 sound. Disc 2 is loaded with extras, including "3 Mindless Sing-Alongs," featurettes, "A Load of Rubbish," and more of those jolly good and totally useless tidbits that we could count on the Pythons (or their production team in charge of editing these things) to include in these special editions.
