Description
[Machine Translation] [Super Audio CD Analog Masterpieces 50] A selection of 50 titles on SACD, selected from the finest recordings of the analog era. This CD contains 21 sonatas performed by Kirkpatrick, who has been active in the Arhive since its foundation. Kirkpatrick was also an accomplished musicologist, and is especially famous for his arrangement and revision of Scarlatti's harpsichord sonatas, which are marked with Kirkpatrick's initials "K." at the end of each title. Recordings: June 1970 in Munich (1-18), May 1965 in Paris (19-21)
