The series will include only the best performances of famous standards from Universal's vast catalog in alphabetical order of the song titles. Two titles are released in this 8th volume. The eighth volume includes 18 standard tunes whose titles begin with the letter "M" in the alphabet. The music is supervised and selected by veteran jazz critic Kei Aoki.
