Description
[Machine Translation] Leading trumpeter of the contemporary new mainstream, returns to his old home, Concord! In the early 80's, he made an impressive debut as the standard-bearer of the New Conventional School with his hometown friend Wynton Marsalis. This album was recorded at the Ogden Museum of Southern Art in his hometown of New Orleans, two years after his last Grammy-winning album. This hybrid modal jazz work features guests Dr. Cornel West, one of the leading Afro-American opinion leaders of our time, and Bilal, a talented vocalist in the neo-soul world.
