The first studio-recorded vocal album by Yasuhiro Konishi, the bandleader of Pizzicato Five, which broke up in 2001 after a worldwide tour as the core group of the "Shibuya-kei" music movement of the 1990s that gained tremendous support from fashion, film, and music industry professionals in Japan and abroad. In 2011, he launched his solo project "PIZZICATO ONE" and has released three albums so far: "11 Very Sad Songs" (2011), "My 20th Century" (2015), and "eve Pizzicato One in Persuasion" (2020). In 2022, she was invited to perform live on stage playing the guitar, which led her to "sing her own compositions from the past", and since then she has been performing in various ensembles. Much of the repertoire on this album was arranged for the "Koyo Konishi Tokyo Marunouchi" concert held at the Marunouchi Cotton Club in August 2023. This time, the five-member ensemble (piano, bass, drums, guitar, and cello) reunited in the studio for the recording. This is a vocal album featuring the repertoire from the Pizzicato Five era, as well as songs provided to other artists and cover versions, presented in Konishi Yasuhiro's own voice. Produced by Yasuhiro Konishi, featuring Tetsuro Yabune on piano, Katsuhito Suzuki on bass, Ryusuke Kakizawa on drums, Mitsukuni Tanabe on guitar, Orie Hirayama on cello, and Jun Oka on also. Tetsuro Funafune: piano, Katsuto Suzuki: bass, Ryusuke Kakizawa: drums, Orie Hirayama: cello, Jun Oka: also saxophone ( the man I loved once upon a time ), Yasuhiro Konishi: vocal.
