The saxophone player for Dai Miyamoto, who aspires to become the world's best jazz player, is the up-and-coming Tomoaki Baba, who was unanimously selected in an audition for domestic and international players. His bandmate Shunji Tamada on drums is played by Shun Ishiwaka, a member of millennium parade and currently the most sought-after drummer, and Hiromi Uehara on piano is played by Yukinori Sawabe.
