[Machine Translation] The major debut album by percussionist/singer/songwriter Mami Kakudo, who graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts with a major in percussion instrumental music, and is currently supporting cero and is a member of the SONGBOOK PROJECT. In February 2019, she held her first solo live performance focusing on "Uta" at a cafe in Tokyo. Five months later, she performed at Fuji Rock Festival under her own name for the first time. This is his first full-length vocal album, utilizing his exceptional songwriting ability and singing voice. In addition to original songs, it includes covers of "I'm Crazy Baby" by the Fishmans and "My Friday" by Maki Asakawa. The album is backed up by notable artists from the genre-less music scene, including Shun Ishiwaka, Hiroshi Nakamura, Shudai Nishida, Marty Holoubek, Wataru Mitsunaga, Yuka Nakafuji, Yumiko Iwao, and Shohei Amimori. This work showcases the talents of these artists, including their beautiful and fragile whisper voices, their unique worldview of lyrics that resembles no one else's, and their playful sound-making.
