Description
[Machine Translation] The long-awaited jazz album by akiko for winter lovers. Harmony of voice and piano carved in the crystal clear time of Scandinavia. The album was produced and performed by Bugge Wesseltoft, a keyboardist based in Oslo, Norway, who is also the owner of the Jazzland label, which boasts solid popularity in Europe. The recording was done by just the two of them at Bugge's Room, a private studio in Oslo, Bugge's home base. The duo, with Bugge on the beautiful piano (partly on Fender Rhodes), recorded this ballad-oriented album with Akiko's vocals, which is full of Scandinavian folkiness and an intimate atmosphere. In between recording sessions, akiko performed with Bugge at Punkt, Norway's most cutting-edge music festival. The album also includes a studio recording of a poetry reading track that was performed there and received rave reviews from the audience.
