¡Voices
¡Max Richter

 Description
[Machine Translation] Max Richter's ninth studio album, inspired by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, took more than 10 years in the making. The Universal Declaration of Human Rights, adopted by the United Nations General Assembly in 1948 to address the world's major post-World War II problems, was drafted by a group of philosophers, artists, and thinkers headed by Eleanor Roosevelt. In "Voices," Richter attempts to integrate the preamble of the "Universal Declaration of Human Rights," recorded in 1949. At the beginning of the piece, Roosevelt's own voice is heard. The narration by American actress Kiki Layne ("Lovers on Beale Street," 2018 drama film) complements the choral, orchestral, and electronic soundscape alongside Roosevelt and the crowd-sourced "People's Voices. Disc-1 includes narration. Disc-1 will include the narration, and Disc-2 will include the "Voiceless Mix" version without the narration. This product will be available for purchase on Friday, and will be delivered on or after the day of release.
