¡Handel: Music For The Royal Fireworks (Original Version 1749)[Limited Release]
¡Trevor Pinnock

 Description
[Machine Translation] [The "Music for the Royal Fireworks" was composed for a fireworks display to celebrate the end of the war, and was premiered by a large military band. Handel later reduced the number of wind instruments and added a string ensemble, and today it is customary to perform it in its orchestral arrangement, but the performance in this album is the wind ensemble version as it was first performed. A large brass band of fifty-five virtuoso players of the original instruments gives a glorious performance reminiscent of the first performance, beautifully recreating the festive atmosphere of the first performance. Recorded in London, January and February 1996 [Performed by] English Concert, original instruments, conductor, harpsichord: Trevor Pinnock
