¡Vivaldi: Andromeda Liberata
¡Opera
Description
[Machine Translation] Discovered in April 2002 in the archives of the Benedetto Marcello Conservatory in Venice, the work is the subject of continuing controversy between scholars who claim that it was entirely composed by Vivaldi and those who claim that one aria is indeed by Vivaldi, but the others are by composers of the time, including Albini. Andrea Malcon (conductor) gave the world premiere of the work and recorded it. This is a commemorative disc for her visit to Japan.
