Description
Based on the book by Dr. Seuss, and also a remake of the animated classic based on the book. It's a magical tale of Whoville that exists inside a snowflake where the people (the Who's) love Christmas, except for the Grinch who hates it. Jim Carrey displays his usual comic excellence under a heavy, nearly unrecognizable Grinch makeup. Jeffrey Tambor, a highly underrated character actor, plays Mayor May Who, and Taylor Momsen is well cast as Cindy Lou Who. Incidentally, none of The Who guys plays a Who in this film. Who knows, maybe in the sequel we'll see Roger Daltrey as Tommy Lou Who.
