Description
Horror(+comedy) remake of William Castle's 1960 film, loaded with special fx and excellent sound. Actor Matthew Lillard is becoming one of his generation's most watchable and engaging actors. He is almost the saving grace of films like this one and Scooby-Doo. Tony Shalhoub and F. Murray Abraham are great actors, but because they're much too great for films of intentionally campy nature like this one, they're obviously playing down to the material.
