Description
[Machine Translation] Hajime ANZA is an illustrator, art director, and former solarmist, and a drummer who made his professional debut at the age of 15 when he joined Carmen Maki & OZ, and has since worked with Shinji Harada & Crisis, Motoharu Sano with The Heartland, The Hobo King Band, Dr. Strange Love, and PUGS. Strange Love, and PUGS. Takashi Furuta, who has recorded and worked as a support member for Misato Watanabe, Koji Kikkawa, Tamio Okuda, PUFFY, Tomoyasu Hotei, Char, and many others, has formed a new band. The name of the band is ANZAIFURUTA. Their first full album has been released! The lead song, M-1 "Why in the world did you do it?" was composed by Takashi Furuta and Hajime Anzai, based on the words that Papa Bakabon would say, or what Papa Bakabon said in the manga, when he participated as a lecturer in the live-action version of DOMMUNE UNIVERSITY's "Bakada University" held in late December 2020. The song is based on the theme of Bakabon no Papa. The song is a rock, punk, and psychedelic song that only two people who inherit "Bakabon no Papa-ism" can produce. The album also includes "Space Hoya," a self-cover version of Hajime Anzai and Friends' "Ho-ho-ho-rah," which was aired on NHK's "Everybody's Uta," "Animanman Neo," "Roadman," and "Subway Go-Go," all songs by Chokoabyz. Included are also self-cover versions of songs such as "Ishi - Sagawa Plain" ("Ishi - Sagawa Plain"). Ishi~Sagawa Hirano" features special participation by Hidefumi Sagawa, a close friend of Chokobabyz. The last song on the album, "Omohide" was written by Takashi Furuta and dedicated to Kayoko Anzai, the wife of Hajime Anzai, who sadly passed away in 2019, and was active as a graphic designer and snapshot artist.
