 Description
[Machine Translation] The Dreamers" is the original soundtrack to the latest film by Italian master filmmaker Bernardo Bertolucci, who directed "1900," "Sheltering Sky," and "Enchanted," and won the Academy Award for Best Film and Best Director for "The Last Emperor. The film is reminiscent of the controversial "Last Tango in Paris" from 30 years ago, which depicted the desires of young people on the eve of the May Revolution in 1968. The soundtrack is composed of quotes from Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, The Grateful Dead, and other iconic Late 60's rock, chanson, and Nouvelle Vague film soundtracks by Jean-Luc Godard, Francoise Truffaut, and others. A cover of "Hey Joe" by Michael Pitt is included as a new recording.
