¡Bromhead: Orchestral Music
¡Classical V.A.

 Description
[Machine Translation] Three very vibrant works. They were composed by Irish composer Jerome de Bromhead ( 1945- ). He studied at the Royal Irish Academy of Music and in Dublin with Theoers Bodley, and was also a guitarist. The explosive music of A Lay for a Light Year, which suggests the scale and energy of the universe, the elegant lyricism of the Violin Concerto and the intensity of the Stravinsky-esque Violin Concerto, and the vast sense of space in the Symphony No. 2 are all concert-quality works. The "Violin Concerto", which has an intensity reminiscent of Stravinsky, and the "Symphony No. 2", which presents a vast sense of space, all have a concert-like splendor. Recorded in 2014 by Coleman Pearce (conductor) and the National Symphony Orchestra of Ireland.
