Description
[Machine Translation] Tahei Asakawa, a pianist from Hokkaido whose works often evoke a sense of the north. Drummer Kazumi Ikenaga has performed and recorded with many Scandinavian artists. NordNote is a duo unit formed by two people with ties to the North. In addition to their own original compositions, the duo performs a repertoire of 10 songs from a variety of musical styles, including Danish and American folk songs and jazz standards, all beautifully expressed with a sense of transparency and sensitivity.
