Portable Rock was formed in 1982 by Maki Nomiya (ex-Pizzicato Five), Tomofumi Suzuki and Nobuo Nakahara, who made their solo debut in 1981. This album is a condensation of the past, present, and future of Portable Rock, featuring 12 songs from their past albums and singles, as well as two new songs, their first in 35 years. This is a memorial to the legendary group that colored the New Wave scene in the '80s, with Maki Nomiya, who later made her breakthrough with Pizzicato Five and is known as the "Queen of Shibuya-kei," as its icon!
