Description

There he meets Wu Lihong ( You Min ), a Hong Kong woman who has been separated from her Japanese mother. Hiroshi returns to Tokyo, but he cannot forget the time he spent in Hong Kong with Wu Lihong. When Hiroshi is suddenly assigned to Hong Kong, a fateful reunion with Lihong awaits him... This is the first film in the "Hong Kong Trilogy" produced by Toho in cooperation with Hong Kong-based production company Cathay Organization. The film features Hong Kong star actress Yumin, known as the "Pearl of Hong Kong," as Takarada Akira's partner in a love romance that transcends national borders in a mixture of English, Japanese, and Chinese. This melodrama, shot on location in Hong Kong, Macau, Tokyo, Unzen, and other locations, is directed by master filmmaker Chiba Yasuki.
