Description
A live-action film based on "Ikari (Rage/Anger)," a controversial novel written by Shuichi Yoshida of "Villain (Akunin)" comes out on DVD. Directed by Sang-il Lee. Music is composed by Ryuichi Sakamoto, including the main theme. Great actors and actresses in Japan such as Ken Watanabe, Mirai Moriyama, Kenichi Matsuyama, Go Ayano, Suzu Hirose, Aoi Miyazaki, and Satoshi Tsumabuki play important roles in the film. Deluxe edition comes with two bonus DVDs featuring making-of documentary, promotional TV program, event footage, and visual commentary. Also comes with a 40-page booklet featuring unreleased stills and interview articles. Plot: A man brutally murders a married couple and leaves behind the words "Ikari (lit. Anger)" written with their blood. The killer undergoes plastic surgery and disappeared. One year after this murder, three male strangers appear in Chiba, Tokyo, and Okinawa respectively.
