Description
DVD release of the live action film "Akunin (Villain)" based on the novel written by Shuichi Yoshida and directed by Lee Sang-il of "Hula Girl." Stars Satoshi Tsumabuki and Eri Fukatsu. Music is composed by Joe Hisaishi. Plot: Yuichi Shimizu is a young construction worker who takes care of his grandparents in Nagasaki. His grandparents raised him instead of his mother who abandoned him when he was a child. Mitsuyo Magome works at a local clothing store and lives with her sister. She lives to no purpose and stuck in the drudgery of daily life in Saga. One day, Yuichi receives an email from Mitsuyo through a dating site, and the two lonely souls then meet for the first time. They throw themselves into a moment of love, but Yuichi is now a murderer creating a sensation on the news. . .
