Description
DVD release from the film "Shizumanu Taiyo" starring Ken Watanabe ("The Last Samurai"). This movie shows the ethic of an airline company which is directory linked with human life, by depicting Hajime Onchi, an employee of the national airline company, who served as the leader of labor union, and people around him. The story based on the true tragedy of Japan Airlines Flight 123, which crashed in 1985 and resulted in a total of 520 deaths and 4 survivors. It remains the deadliest single-aircraft accident in history. Includes a bonus disc with making-of footage, a special program about Toyoko Yamazaki (original author), press conference, and more. Also includes a special booklet with lots of photos and description.
