 Description
[Machine Translation] The hands-on documentary program "Staying Around the World", which has continued to give the "impression" of genuine encounters and farewells with families living around the world, is now available on DVD in a longer version with additional never-before-seen footage! The 6 gorgeous reporters selected from a total of 564 episodes record the growth and excitement of the program! In VOL.5, Tatsuya Fujiwara meets six sisters in downtown Nepal (aired in 2000/Nepal). The actor Tatsuya Fujiwara (17 years old at the time) visited Bhaktapur, a town famous for its pottery, 40 minutes by bus from Kathmandu, Nepal's capital city. He spent a week as the only son of Prajapati, the father of six sisters, saying, "I really wanted a son. Prajapati has been a potter for three generations. In Nepal, only men can turn a potter's wheel, so he was overjoyed to have the son he had always wanted. Fujiwara, who was dressed in traditional clothes, spent a day with Prajapati gathering clay for the pottery and helping to fire it in the kiln. Fujiwara sleeps and wakes up with Prajapati and her family, and together they go on their monthly picnic, where he once again feels the warmth and love of family. But the day of separation arrives. The family sends Fujiwara off with a Nepalese farewell ceremony.
