Description
(AKA Banished Orin, Melody in Gray) Another Masahiro Shinoda social commentary based on the novel by Tsutomu Minakami. Wife Shima Iwashita portrays the title character, a blind traveling musician whom is expected to remain celibate. Raped, she is expelled from her group and ultimately meets a young man who is opposed to Japanese militarism. Although she is "available" to him, he will not take advantage of her.
