Description
DVD release of the film "Maru" starring Tsuyoshi Domoto. Directed by Naoko Ogigami. Features English subtitles. --Sawada is an art college graduate who has been working as an assistant to a popular contemporary artist, but has been unable to make a living as an artist. He shows no sign of independence, or even of losing the energy to do so, and simply does what he is told to do. One day, he has an accident on his way to work and loses his job due to an injury to his arm. When he returns to his room, he finds an ant on the floor. The ant led him to draw a circle on SNS, which spread unnoticed, and he became famous as "Sawaida," an artist whose identity is unknown. Suddenly, everyone knows about Sawada, but he is gradually becoming obsessed with the circle... Deluxe edition includes a bonus disc with over 200 minutes of bonus footage! Includes a booklet on the making of the film, a catalog of artwork from the film, and an original postcard.
