Description
[Machine Translation] The story of a dancer who overcomes loss and hopes to open her heart through ballet. The film is directed by Jesse Ahearn, a documentary filmmaker making his feature film directorial debut, and Joanne Samuel, who played Mel Gibson's wife in "Mad Max. In pursuit of realism, Juliette Doherty, a gold medalist in the world's largest ballet competition, was chosen to play the lead role. Her rival Gracie is played by Primrose Kahn, who once competed in the Prix de Lausanne at the age of only 15. Joel Burke, who has also competed in Lausanne, plays the protagonist's dance partner. --Sam is a talented young ballet dancer at a prestigious ballet school who is unable to dance after hearing the news of the death of his sister, a ballet dancer whom he had always admired. Traumatized emotionally, Sam quits school and lives a life of self-indulgence. After shoplifting, Sam is assigned 200 hours of community service, and his mother half deceives him into joining a cleaning crew at the ballet school he once attended. At first Sam is disgusted by the presence of ballet in his life, but when he is reunited with his rivals from that time, his dance partner whom he secretly loves, and his teacher who still trains the boys and girls as rigorously as ever, his deep passion for ballet begins to well up in his heart once again. However, the trauma of her past is a big obstacle for her to perform on stage again. Then, Sam's heart is shaken violently when she is offered a chance to perform in "The Red Shoes" again this year.
