The moment of death, stretched out, gives us the strangeness and joy of life. --A TV crew visits a small Kurdish village from Tehran. They are there to report on the village's unique funeral customs, but they tell Fazad, a young boy guiding them around the village, to keep their purpose a secret. The men plan to stay in the village for a few days while they check on Fazad's grandmother, who is in a critical condition. But after several weeks, the old woman's death has not come, and the director, Behzad, grows frustrated at the unplanned turn of events. The film is set in a beautiful landscape surrounded by wheat fields, and is full of humorous exchanges between the protagonist and the unique characters of the villagers.
