Description
Blu-ray release of the live action film in 1999 "Himitsu (The Secret)" based on the novel written by Keigo Higashino. Directed by Yojiro Takita of "Departures." Stars Ryoko Hirosue. Monami is a 17-year-old highschool student and the daughter of Heisuke Sugitaand Naoko Sugita. One day, a ski bus carrying Monami and her mother Naoko goes off a cliff, and the accident kills Naoko while Monami surives. Monami wakes up from her coma but she has regained her mother Naoko's consciousness and not her own. When Heisuke learns of this, a secret life of the two as a married couple begins while retaining the facade of father-daughter relationship in front of everybody else. . .
