Description
Blu-ray release of the film "A Samurai Chronicle (Higurashi no Ki)" directed and script by Takashi Koizumi. The story is based on the novel of the same name by Rin Hamuro. Stars Koji Yakusho, Junichi Okada, Maki Horikita, and Mieko Harada. The story centers on a man, who received an order to commit seppuku (ritual suicide) 10 years after, and depicts the importance for living a day through human relationships around the man. Comes with a bonus disc with making-of, interviews with the director and cast (Takashi Koizumi, Koji Yakusho, Junichi Okada, Maki Horikita, Mieko Harada), a special program aired before the movie release "Utsukushiki Nihonjin no Ai to Jinsei SP," and footage of promotional events (greeting, preview, etc.). Comes with a booklet (24 pages, subject to change). Special packaging.
