 Description
Maku (Act) 2 of OVA "Tsuioku-hen" in which the story behind Kenshin's cross scar is revealed. This Maku tells the story of Kenshin, Tomoe and the "Ishin Shishi" samurais. While their conflict with Shinsengumi gets worse, the bloody "Ikedaya" incident occurs in Kyoto... The characters are redesigned to match the high quality animation used to depict the end of Japan's Edo era and it's definitely a notch above the average anime.
