Description
[Machine Translation] Atsuhiko Suwa is the only Japanese director who participated in "Paris Je t'aime". His latest work, which has received rave reviews in Europe, is finally being released on DVD! When one decides to say goodbye, one learns to love for the first time. This French-Japanese co-production was shot entirely on location in Paris and features a French dialogue throughout. Suwa does not use a completed script, but instead creates the film through rehearsals. The film depicts a terminally ill couple in Paris over the course of a few days. --Marie and Nicolas have been married for 15 years. They came to Paris from Lisbon to attend a friend's wedding. Although they are seen as an ideal couple by those around them, in reality their hearts have reached an extreme point of discord. The film won the Special Jury Prize at the 58th Locarno International Film Festival in 2005 and the FIPRESCI Prize.
