Description
The world's greatest cellist, Yo-Yo Ma, has recorded Bach's Unaccompanied Cello Suites three times. This release is his first recording, made in his mid-20s, and marks the 40th anniversary of its original release in 1983. It includes new liner notes by producer Richard Einhorn. This 3-LP set is a picture disc, with portions of the handwritten score of all six suites printed on both sides. The product is manufactured overseas (both the vinyl and jacket made in the EU) and imported as-is, with added Japanese liner notes and an obi strip for the Japanese release. *The remaster used for the hybrid release, which is being released simultaneously, was not used for this cutting.
