[Machine Translation] Recorded at Iruma Civic Hall in 1987, this is a collaboration between Rampal ( 1922-2000 ), one of the greatest flutists of the 20th century, and Shigenori Kudo, a world-class flutist of whom Japan is proud. Shigenori Kudo studied in Paris and was a favorite student of Rampal. This teacher-disciple duo performed together in Paris in 1979, and also on stage at the Mostly Mozart Festival in New York in 1987. This album has been critically acclaimed since its release, and has been released in Europe and the United States. It was awarded the 1988 Japan Arts Award.
