 Description
[Machine Translation] The long-awaited DVD compilation of two programs that aired in 1969 and introduced the San Francisco music scene. Ralph J. Gleason, a widely known and influential music critic in the U.S. at the time, produced and supervised the entire production. The first part, "Go Ride The Music," is a compilation of live performances by Jefferson Airplane and Quicksilver Messenger Service, two of the leading representatives of the Cisco sound. Jefferson Airplane, with new drummer Joey Covington, performs seven songs indoors, and Quicksilver Messenger Servis performs a set of songs from the band's first album, "The Music". Quicksilver, which has become known as a psychedelic band, played a solid set outdoors. The second part is "West Pole," featuring Ralph J. Gleason, who introduces a variety of bands from the Cisco scene, either live or on film, with a mix of musical and historical background. Includes commentary.
