Description
A live-action film based on the novel by Naoki Prize winner, Kanako Nishi comes out on DVD. Directed by Hitoshi Yazaki. Starring Takumi Kitamura, Nana Komatsu, Ryo Yoshizawa, Shinobu Terashima and Masatoshi Nagase. Deluxe edition comes with a bonus disc with making-of and event footage. Plot: Kaoru, the second son of Hasegawa family, received a letter on the back of a supermarket flyer from his father, who has been out of touch for two years. The letter said, "I'm coming home at the end of the year." Kaoru went to his parents' house at the end of that year and meets up with his family and pet dog Sakura for the first time in a long time. However, his older brother Hajime is not there... because Hajime had passed away two years ago.
