Description
Yoji Yamada's film "Tokyo Kazoku (Tokyo Family)" comes out on Blu-ray. This is the fiftieth anniversary work of Yamada. Music is composed by Joe Hisaishi. Plot: An old married couple Shukichi Hirayama and Tomiko, who live in a small island of Seto Inland Sea, go to Tokyo to meet their 3 children. The eldest son Koichi runs a hospital. The first daughter Shigeko runs a beauty salon. The second son Shuji works in stage art. At first they care for each other, however. . .
